Betty M. Golden, age 66, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Baptist Health in Corbin.
Born in Madison County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joseph McQueen and Rosie McKinney. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Roman Christopher Flinchum; sister, Ollie Mae Eversole; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ancle and Ila Golden.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Golden; six children: Trish McCubbins, Billy Flinchum, John Michael Flinchum, Adina Golden Saylor, Jeri Lynn Widner, and Robert Keene; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Saturday, April 20th, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Her funeral was held at 2 pm Sunday, April 21st, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with her son, Rev. Billy Flinchum and Rev. J.J. Helton officiating.
Burial followed at the Golden Cemetery on their family property.
