Brandon Gibson

Brandon Gibson, age 36, of Barbourville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Born in Barbourville, he was a son to Ronnie Gibson and Teresa Woods Medlin. Brandon loved his boys, Logan and Bentley, more than anything. Together they enjoyed playing basketball and fishing. They especially enjoyed a good opportunity to go eat at McDonalds.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maggi and Fount Gibson, and Willis and Pearl Woods, uncles, Bruce Gibson, Keith Gibson, and Keith Woods, and an aunt, Angela Woods.

He is survived by two sons, Logan Gibson and Bentley Gibson, parents, Ronnie Gibson and wife Karen, and Teresa Medlin and husband Greg, siblings, Jennifer Ketchum, LaShondia Ferguson, and Danielle Gibson, and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Brandon will be held at 12noon on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Rossland Holiness Church in Gray, KY, with Rev. Josh Gray officiating.

Burial will follow at Betty Frost Cemetery in Knox County, KY.
