Coy Grubb, Jr., age 60, of Corbin passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at his home.
Born in Louisville, he was a son of the late Coy Grubb, Sr. and Eva Pearl Taylor Grubb. A brother, Harlan "Dub" Grubb and a sister, Evelyn Davidson also preceded him in death.
Coy was a U.S. Army veteran and had worked in construction and enjoyed fishing before health problems developed.
He is survived by sisters: Bobbie Cales and Della Wagers of Corbin, Pollie Smith of Manchester and Betty Gibson of Garrison; brothers: Johnny Grubb and Jack Grubb of Corbin; a daughter, Christina Marie Brumley and granddaughter, Tarasha Marie Powers of Williamsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Coy's visitation will begin at noon Thursday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. His funeral will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Burial will be at the Golden Family Cemetery near Woodbine.
