Edith Sullivan Sutton, 93, of Corbin passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Pearl Owens Saylor. Edith was also preceded in death by husbands Clifford Sullivan and Rev. Thurman Sutton, a son Jimmy Lane Sullivan, grandson Gary Sullivan, granddaughter Tracy Sullivan Sears, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by great grandsons Brad Sears, and Sam Sears and his wife Heather; a great-great grandson Avery Joe Sears; sisters Betty Conover and Faye Proffitt; grandson Lane Sullivan; great granddaughter Ciara; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Edith had worked as a sales clerk at Bondurant Drug Store and she belonged to the Woodbine Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Monday at the John Sharp Cemetery near Woodbine with Sam Sears officiating.
Family and friends may meet at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home at 1 pm Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
