Edward Carter, age 78, of Gray, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
He worked for over 30 years as a fabricator for Vulcanhart in Louisville, KY and later at the Cookie Factory in London.
Edward was a member of the Gray Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his first Wife, Patricia Ann Carter; Parents, Travis and Nan Sasser Carter; Daughter, Tamria Michelle Carter; Siblings, Ivy Webb, Julie Brock, Lucille Carter, Carl Carter, Tinnie Rhodes, and Everett Carter.
Edward is survived by his Wife, Patricia Ann Engle Carter; Children, Tabatha Heath and husband Kenneth; Edward D. Carter and wife Angel; Step-Children, Tony Russell McVey and wife Pamela Faye; and Travis Clark Bargo; Siblings J.C. Carter, Robert Lee Carter, William Harrison Carter, Laurie Mae Adams, and Travis Carter Jr.; Grandchildren Jack Travis Carter, Kamryn Paige Carter, Zoe Elizabeth Carter; and by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends including special nephew, Chris Woods.
Funeral Service for Edward Carter will be held at 3pm on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Watkins officiating.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st, from 12noon until 3pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
