Ella Faye Martin

Ella Faye Martin, age 88, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 at her home in Corbin.
She was born on December 13, 1930, a second daughter of the late Lawrence Roaden and Allie Connie Brown Roaden.  A lifetime member of Frankfort Baptist Church, she was an avid gardner and loved canning.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Ova "Buddy" Martin in 2006; Sister, Nannie Mae Durham; Brothers, Amos "Buddy," Leland, Rit, Bill, Larry, John, and Charlie; Granddaughter, Hailee Martin; Sons-in-Law, Homer Tucker and Michael Taylor.
Ella is survived by her Sons, Robert Eugene "Bobby" Martin (Terrie) of Bowling Green; Jerry Glenn Martin (Dee) of Corbin; Daughters, Brenda Eldridge (Danny) of Norwood, OH; Carol Ely (Roy), of Corbin; and Jeannie Taylor of Whitley County; 14 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; and one Great Great Grandson, Carter; Brother, Gary Roaden (JoAnn) of Walton; Sisters, Jane Disney of Verona; Marlene Puckett (Dale) of Carrollton; and Shirley Coffey of Walton; Bro-in-law, Harold Martin (Lorene) of Cincinnati; Joyce McKendrick of Browns Creek; and Doris Reeves of Corbin; and by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will all mourn her passing.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 11am until the time of her funeral service at 1:00pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin.
