Harold Clayton Ritchie

Harold Clayton Ritchie, age 68 of Corbin, passed away on Monday October 17, 2005 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin
He was born on November 23, 1936 in Hazard, KY to the late Levi Ritchie and Cordilla Johnson Ritchie. He was the retired Office Manager from the Boonsbora Quarry, an Air Force Veteran and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Corbin.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Denise Ritchie.
He is survived by his wife Erika Cornett Ritchie; Children, Diane Palmerton and husband Ben, Debbie Estes and husband Greg, Harold W. Ritchie and wife Linda all of Winchester, Harold C. Burkhart and wife Sandy of Flemingsburg, Elmer Ray Burkhart Jr. of Cynthiana, and Robert Burkhart of Cincinnati; Two Brothers, Willard Ritchie, and Roger Ritchie and wife Pat; Three Sisters, Mildred Dick, Barbara Mains and husband Joe, and Hilda Franey and husband Kenny; Grandsons, Brandon and Austin Ritchie, Daniel L. Claypoole and wife Leah, Robert H. Claypoole, Robert Burkhart Jr, and Paul Edward Burkhart; Granddaughters, Amy Tipton and husband Ryan, Jessica Charles and husband Ryan, Emily Estes, Erika, Chelsa, and Jessica Burkhart; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law, Bob Cornett, Willard and Annette Miniard Jr, and Linda Armentes; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends who will mourn his passing.
Harold was eagerly anticipating the birth of his first Great Grandson.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 2:00pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel L. Claypoole officiating, with the burial to follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin. Pall Bearers will be Roger, Harold W., Brandon, and Austin Ritchie, Harold C. Burkhart, Elmer Ray Burkhart Jr., Robert Claypoole, Ben Palmerton, Greg Estes, and Ryan Tipton.
Visitation will be on Friday from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
