Justin Wade Storms

Justin Wade Storms, age 46, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.

He was born in Corbin, Kentucky, on December 28, 1977, to Wayne and Nancy Monhollen Storms.

Justin served his community as a school bus driver and diesel mechanic for Laurel County Public Schools. His love for his job was evident in his steadfast dedication and commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of his young passengers. His jovial personality and warm smile made him a favorite amongst the children he drove and the colleagues he worked with. Justin never met a stranger. Through work, he made countless friends and gave memories that will be cherished forever.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Ruby Storms, Richard and Pauline Monhollen, and by his uncle, Donnie Storms.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Traci Storms; brother, Ray (Nancy) Storms; nieces, Abby and Leah Shoemaker; nephew, Evan Shoemaker; sister-in-law, Emily (John) Shoemaker; brother-in-law, JD Westbrook-Morgan; and by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins

Visitation will be held from 10 am-12 pm on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will follow at 12 pm with Rev. David Cox officiating.

Burial will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Keavy, KY
