Louise M. Davis Bright

Louise M. Davis Bright, age 75, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 11, 2007.
She was born on February 23, 1931 in Knox County, the Daughter of the late Harm McQueen and Eva Stewart McQueen.
She was a retired press operator from Certain Teed in Corbin, and a Member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Corbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her First Husband, Rev. James Nelson Davis; Grandparents, Rev. Taulby Stewart and Allie; and a Step-Son, Billy Ray Bright.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Bright; three Children, Diana Morgan and husband Tom of Saucier, MS; Jeffrey L. Davis and wife LaDonna of Corbin, and Gary Nelson Davis and wife Sonya of Little Rock, AR; Brother, Roy McQueen and wife Erma, and Sister, Jeannie Jordan Lee and husband Harlan, all of California; 16 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; Uncle, Arnold and Mildred Stewart; Several Cousins, including, Wanda McKeehan and Debbie Hensley with whom she was raised; Two Step-Children, Joyce Morris and husband Rev. Vernon; and Judy Fields and husband Ray.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 11am at the Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Herschel Walker, Rev. Vernon Morris, and Rev. Billy Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2pm until 7pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home
