Maggie Louise Sammons

Maggie Louise Lowe Sammons, was born on March 29, 1960, and went to be with Our Lord and Savior, on Monday April 29, 2024, living to be 64 years and one month of age.

On November 26, 1987, Maggie was united it marriage to Billy Sammons, and to this union four children were born, one daughter, Angela Sammons (Amos Mills), and three sons, William Sammons (Shaketha), Allen Sammons (Amanda), and Chad Sammons (Ashley).  She was blessed with sixteen grandchildren.

Mrs. Sammons was preceded in death by her parents Squire William Lowe and Lottie Brock Lowe; two brothers, William Ronald Lowe and Terry Michael Lowe; one sister, Mary Margarett Roark; and by one nephew, William Ronald Lowe Jr.

In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, Maggie left many friends and loved ones who mourn her passing including five sisters, Jewell Warren, Judy Davis (Michael), Shelia Mills (David), Darlene Walker (Wesley), Doris Hill (Junior); and by four brothers, Jerry Lowe, Samuel Brock, Jimmy Brock, and Elmer Brock.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Friday May 3, 2024, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday May 4th, with Rev. Rodney Edwards and Rev. Ryan Wells officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lowe Family Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky.  Her pall bearers will be Amos Mills, Acey Martin, Drake Gray, John Walker, Matthew Walker, James Helton, and Logan Mills.
