Wesley David Eaton

Wesley David Eaton, age 89, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky.

Born in Keavy, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Gale Eaton and Nancy Vanover Eaton.  He was a lifelong farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosella Jone Eaton, on May 28, 2024.  Together they would have celebrated 72 years of marriage this coming Sunday, June 9th.  Also preceding him in death are two sons, Walter Eaton Sr. and Eugene "Gene" Eaton; and by one brother; three sisters; and by a great granddaughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Eaton Wysong of East Bernstadt, KY, 8 grandkids, 12 great grandkids, and 4 great great grandkids; sisters, Stella Martin and Gracie Leopold; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A combined visitation and funeral will be held for both Rosella and Wesley Eaton. Their visitation will be on Thursday from 12noon until 2 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where their funeral service will be held at 2 pm with Bro. Joe Isaacs officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chapel Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky.
