Ada Pauline 'Sister Hurst' Adams

Ada Pauline "Sister Hurst" Adams, age 95 of Corbin, passed away on October 8, 2021 at her home.
Born in LaFollette, TN, she was the daughter of the late Elias Marson Owens and Minnie E. Johnson Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, husband, John E. Adams; sons, Kevin A. Hurst and Gregory Lee Campbell; brothers, Ernest Owens and Shannon Arnold Owens; and sisters, Pearl Lorene Kitts, Roberta Leach, Sonya Sue Ray, and Anna Leach Chadwell.
Ada is survived by her, daughter, Sharon Elaine Campbell; grandson, Richard William McDaniel; granddaughter, Alice Turnmire and husband Matt; two great grandchildren, Dakota Wayne Turnmire and Montana Faith Turnmire; brother, James Darrell Owens; and by numerous family members and friends who mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 1-2pm on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Sim Thacker officiating.
Interment will be held Monday afternoon in October 11, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette, TN.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family has requested donations be made to American Cancer Society or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
