Alford Glen Engle

Glen Engle, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Thursday July 15, 2004.
He was born on September 7, 1926 in Corbin to the late Virgil and Jeffie Smith Engle. He was a retired supervisor from the Wiser Oil Company, A US Army Veteran, and a Member of the Eastside Tabernacle Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, Arnold, and Clyde Engle, and a Sister, Pauline Engle.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Katherine Engle; his Daughter, Sharon Hall and Husband Herman of California;  a Sister, Lucille Walters and husband Jack of Corbin; a Brother, Wilford Engle and Wife Jean of Indiana; A Sister-In-Law, Imognene Engle of Corbin; and Special Friend Carol Hill and Family.
Funeral service will be on Sunday, July 18, 2004 at 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Lee and Rev. J.K.Barrineau officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin with Nephews and Friends serving as Pall Bearers. Honorary Pall Bearers will be the Eastside Tabernacle Adult Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
