Alice Susan Deskins

Alice Susan Deskins, age 84, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Boone County, WV, the daughter of the late Elverton Mitchell and Mary Etta VanGundy Mitchell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carlos Deskins, three Brothers, three Sisters, and a Son-In-Law, Ira Raines.
She is survived by her three Sons, Jimmy O. Deskins and wife Ruby, Alden Roy Deskins, and Noel El Deskins, all of Corbin; one Daughter, Vanice Jane Raines of Corbin, Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
