Alma Elizabeth Cornelius

Alma E. Cornelius, age 69, of Corbin, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
She was born on September 7, 1934 in Corbin to the late Maynard G. Wells and Sally Lou Jones Wells.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Canada; a Grandson, Michael Ralph Cornelius; a step-son Dennis Cornelius; and three Brothers, Bertie, William E. and George Rondal Wells.
She is survived by her Sister, Alene Wells Ridener with whom she resided; a Son Mike Cornelius and his wife Laura of Corbin, a Daughter, Heather Snyder and her husband John of Corbin; A Step-Son, Roy Cornelius and his wife JoAnn of Corbin; her Grandchildren, Wendell Canada and his wife Jessica of Williamsburg, James and Shannon Cornelius of Corbin, and David Cornelius of OK; Three Great Granddaughters, Mackenzie and Madyson Stokes, Abigail Canada. She is also survived by Ralph Cornelius, and Numerous Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held on May 15, 2004 at 1pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton and Rev. James Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Friday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
