Alta Mae Purdin

Alta Mae Purdin, age 70, of Corbin, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Gray, Kentucky to the late Ernest Sasser and Eva Mae Smallwood Sasser. She was a homemaker and a protestant by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Lowell Purdin; Brother, Wade Eugene Sasser; and Sister, Dolly Frances Sasser.
She is survived by her Daughter, Tammy McCord; Grandchildren, Rachael and Ryan McCord all of Winchester; Sister, Helen Fay Rees and husband Ray of Gray, and Brother, William Ernest Sasser, and by a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 18th, from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
