Alta Parsons Sargent Taylor

Alta Parsons Sargent Taylor, of Clio, MI, formerly of Pontiac, MI, age 91, passed away on Sunday morning October 4, 2015 at the home of her daughter.
Alta was born February 8,1924 at Hulen, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Victor and Itha Hobbs Parsons.
Alta is a member of the Singing Ministries Church Mt. Morris Michigan.
Alta was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Itha Hobbs Parsons; Husbands, Walter Sargent and Paul Taylor; Sisters, Elsie Parsons, Debbie Parsons Sanders, China Parsons Johnson, Betty Parsons Collette, and Joe Parsons.
Alta is survived by her Children: Dale Sargent and wife Edith, Bud Sargent and wife Barbara, Alma Sargent Beebe and husband Ralph, and Larry Sargent and wife Jodi;
Grandchildren: Angela Sargent, Chad Boldrey and wife Pam, Bud Sargent, Misty Sargent Jensen and husband Monty, Jamie Boldrey Henke, Christie Sargent Cutting and husband Jeff, Dana Beebe Covert and husband Danny, Lance Sargent and wife Becky, Walter Sargent, Mandi Sargent, and Ethan Sargent;
Great Grandchildren: Dakota Boldrey, Brian Henke II, Nathan Henke, Ciara Beebe, Madison Beebe, Victoria Townsend, Brian Townsend, Faye Jensen, Ricky Jensen, Jesse Jensen, Rhayna Sargent, Lance Dale Sargent III, Kyla Sargent, Paul Sargent, Cryslyn Blackburn, Hunter Preston, Blane Cutting, Chris Cutting, Eli Covert, Jackson Covert, Lillian Edelen, Paige Edelen, and Mason Boldrey.
Visitation will be held at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, Saturday, October 17, from 6pm until 9pm with family at 5pm.
Funeral will be at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home Sunday, October 18, at 2pm with Pastor Gerald Lawson officiating.
Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin.
