Amanda M. Johnson, age 56, of Williamsburg, passed away Friday, September 26, 2003 at her daughter's residence.
She was born on July 18, 1947 in Knox County the daughter of the late Delbert Lawson and the late Martha Mullinax.
She was a former seamstress with the former Lawson Sewing Company of Barbourville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Daughter, Sally Ann Madon, and two Sisters, Linda Taylor and Betty Joyce Lawson.
She is survived by her husband Grady Johnson; a Son, Johnny Madon of Corbin; One Daughter, Betty Davenport of Bee Creek Road, Corbin; four Brothers, Kenny Lawson of Corbin, Tony Lawson of Manchester, Jerry Lawson of Williamsburg, and Johnny Lawson of Barbourville; Two Sisters, Marsha Cain of Georgia, and Zelma Monhollen of Corbin; Six Grandchildren, Kimberly Mays, John Wesley Madon, Kristie Mays, Jazzman Smith, Ethan Madon, and Allysha Davenport.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm pm Sunday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the McNeal Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
