Angeline Fowlkes

Angeline Fowlkes, age 79, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday September 14, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Hazard, Kentucky a daughter to the late Charles Barlowe and Carrie Barlowe Combs.  Angeline was retired from Walmart in West Memphis, Arkansas where she had worked for over 18years.  Angeline loved her grandchildred and enjoyed traveling with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, William Eugene Fowlkes Jr., Brothers, Glen Barlowe and Charles Combs; and by her Sister, Mary Wood.
Angeline is survived by her Children, William W. Fowlkes and wife Melissa of Kennesaw, GA, Carrie Christine Fowlkes of Corbin, and Allen D. Fowlkes and wife Tonya of West Monroe, LA; Grandchildren; Hillari Gharib and husband Tony; William Zachary Fowlkes, Gabriella Nicole Fowlkes, William Bennett Fowlkes, and Jonathan Barnett; a great granddaughter, Savannah Marie Gharib; Brother, James Barlowe and wife Cena of Hazard; and by many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday September 19, 2019 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with Pastor Andy Dunn officiating.
Visitation will be from 12noon until 2pm on Thursday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
