Anna Lee Asher

Anna Lee Asher, 80, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at her home.
Born in Hyden, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Gola Bowling Howard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roderick Asher; son, Roger Leland Asher; grandchildren: Arrianna Elizabeth Carol Evans and Anastasia Nykohl McCarthy; brothers: Bill Henry Howard and Kelly Haze Howard; and sisters: Martha Stovall, Fern Dills, and Naomi Browning.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenna Carol Wilson; grandchildren: Derrick H. Asher, CaSandra Homan Asher, David Lee Head, Heather Marie Dice, and Elizabeth Ann Evans; great-grandchildren: Dion Alexander Evans, Aurora Brianna Evans, Jeremy James Jackson, Patrick Keanu Moffat, Kevin Brandon Michael McCarthy, and Destiny Smith; brother, Leihman Howard; sister, Janice Kay Poniedzielski; step-mother, Beulah Howard; and step-brothers: Bill, Charlie and Ronald Fox.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon Friday, Sept. 27th, until the Funeral at 2 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
