Anna Monhollen Flamont

Anna Jacqueline Monhollen Flamont, age 87, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington. She was born in Corbin, KY, to the late Edward and Mary Williams Monhollen. Anna was a homemaker and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Van Harvey Flamont; Daughters, Mary Edith Flamont, Vanya Flamont, and Beverley Sue Flamont Forest; and Sisters, Sylvia Monhollen and Violet Monhollen Mercer.
Anna is survived by her brother, James Edward Monhollen; Children, Patricia Flamont Tyra (Dennis), Van H. Flamont II, and Roy E. Flamont; Grandchildren, Dennis Rippey (Shawnna), Dennis Tyra Jr., Marlena Tyra, Christopher Tyra (Victoria), Frank Tyra, Van H. Flamont III, Derek Flamont (Jessica), Alicia Flamont, Travis Flamont, Ernest J. Forest III (Melissa), Annett M. Forest, William E. Forest, Sarra Forest (Steven Rivera), Melissa Forest Schaefer (Richard); Great grandchildren, Tessa Tyra; Dennis II, Julianna, Jadin, Shelby Rippey; Brittany, Caleb, Corey Jarvinen; Chloe Tyra; Theoren Flamont; Derek Jr. and Alexis Flamont; Trinity and Joshua Bragenzer; Travis Jr. and Isaac Flamont; Summer, Autumn, and Faithlynn Menhart; Aubree Brewer; William Jr and Aiden Forest; Nevaeh, Riley, and Steven Jr. Rivera; and Great great grandchildren, Lyla and Jude Rippey; Issaih Rippey; and Layne Rippey.
Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23 at 11:00am with Rev. Vernon Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
