Ardella Mae Jones

Ardella Mae King Jones, age 91, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Harlan County, KY, she was a daughter to the late Ira Goff King and Julia Spurlock King. She loved fishing and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Jones, and siblings, Ailene Davidson, Farris King, Faye Stogsdill, Lydia Hill, Helen Prewitt, Kenneth King, Dorsey King, Charles King, and Lee Vernon King.

Ardella is survived by her sons, Larry Hyden, and Donald King, a sister, JoAnn Flannigan (Carlos), and by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2pm on Saturday with Elder Freddie Harris officiating.
