Aurora Osomo '"Nora"' Matson

Aurora "Nora" Osomo Matson, 73, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Edwardo Fernandez Osomo and Consuello Osomo.
In addition to her parents, Aurora was preceded in death by her husband Sheldon Matson in 2006; and a son William Parrish.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including niece Delores Godsey and husband Rev. Lonnie Godsey, and nephews Tyler Frye and Jayden Frye. She is also survived by her church family at Woodbine Christian Church and Barton Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Romines officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 11:00 A.M. Thursday until the funeral at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
