Avery W. Chilson, Jr.

Avery W. Chilson, Jr., 82, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin.
Born June 25, 1923 in Michigan, he was the son of the late Avery Chilson Sr. and Clara Chilson. He was Pentecostal by faith and was a retired assembly line worker for the Chrysler Corporation in Michigan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, sisters, and a step-son Harrison Lloyd.
He is survived by his wife Beulah "Billie" Chilson; two sons and one daughter; brother Don Chilson; step-children Pat Lloyd of Huber Heights, Ohio, Mitchell Lloyd (Wilma) of Crossville, Tennessee, Phyllis (Van) VanNorstran of Corbin, Barbara Lee (Robert) of Crossville, Tennessee, Sherry C. Lawson of Crossville, Tennessee and Shonna Lloyd-Norris of Germantown, Ohio; and numerous step-grand and step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Josh VanNorstran officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later time at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
