Barbara J. Storms

Barbara J. Storms, 71, of Corbin passed away Saturday morning, May 31, 2014 at the U. K. Medical Center in Lexington.
A native of Montrose, West Virginia, she was a daughter of Dickson and Loretta Helmick Judy who preceded her in death.
Barbara was co-owner of Johnny Wheels in Corbin and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas R. Storms, Sr.; three sons: T. R. Storms and wife Karen, Bill Storms and wife Jenny, and Jonathan Storms, all of Corbin; eight grandchildren: Emily, Ben, Claire, Lauren, Jacob, Adam, Anna, and Slater Storms; one great granddaughter, Natalie Storms; brothers: Bob, Tom, Mike and Dick Judy, all of West Virginia; a sister, Kaye Close of Williamsburg; her extra special friend, Elaine Rickett, and many other close friends.
Barbara's life will be celebrated with a visitation from 6 until 9 pm Tuesday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. A Rosary service will be held at 8:30 pm.
Her funeral Mass will be at 11 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Mike Weglicki as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
