Barbara Johnson

Barbara Johnson, age 78, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at her home.
Born in Dayton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Noble Payne (Stepmother Velma) and Mary Agnes Haggard Ross. Barbara enjoyed gardening and spending time with family, and she especially enjoyed her bingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foster Johnson; seven brothers; three sister; and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her children, Steve (Christine), Dennis (Sabine), Charlie (Eddie), and LeeAnn; grandchildren, Steven, Scott, Kirbi, Kody, Noah, Eva, Savannah, Anaelle, Macy, Samuel, Analia, and Nailah; great grandchildren, Harlow, Finley, Eden, Piper, Maggie, and James; siblings, Ronnie, Danny Ray, and Debbie; and by a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-7pm on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where a memorial service will follow at 7pm on Friday with Rev. Scott Wilson officiating.
