Barry W. Lee

Barry W. Lee, age 61, of Dowis Chapel, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at his home. Born in Knox County, he was the son of the late B.W. Lee and Mary Williams Lee. Barry was self-employed and was a vendor at Corbin Indoor Flea Market. He was a graduate of Cumberland College and received his teaching degree from Union College. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Regniald Lee; sister, Mary Ann Lee; sister-in-law, Oneida Lee; and brother-in-law, Herschel Frazier. He is survived by his sister, Janiave Frazier; brothers: Jack Lee, Wilbur Lee and wife Linda, Joseph Lee and wife Wilma, Robert Lee and wife Barbara, and Jimmy Lee and wife Ruth; many nieces and nephews including Kayla Wilson McFarland; and special friends including Keith Rapier, and Barry and Sharon Mitchell, Dan Egner, and Teresa and Red. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Dowis Chapel Cemetery.
