Benjamin Franklin 'Franky' Hibbard

Benjamin Franklin "Franky" Hibbard, 57, of Paris Karr Road, Keavy, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 at his home.
He was Baptist by faith and was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He was a retired assemblyman for the Ford Motor Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Hibbard and Priscilla Hibbard.
Surviving are four children: Danny Bott of Missouri, Debbie Hibbard, Benny Hibbard and Robert Hibbard all of Michigan; five brothers: Jr. Hibbard of Corbin, Carley Hibbard of Corbin, Roy Hibbard of Michigan, Delmer Wells of Indiana, and Bobby Wells of Corbin; three sisters: Margie Durham of Corbin, Martha Sizemore of London, and Carol Hopkins; his ex-wife Bonnie Hibbard; four grandchildren; and special friend Tracy Smallwood.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 1, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Ivan Siler officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Anthany Durham, Lawrence Rose, Steve Hollingsworth, Charlie Hopkins, Bobby Wells, Roy Hibbard, Robert Hibbard and Benny Hibbard. Honorary pallbearer is Jr. Hibbard.
