Bernice Dozier

Bernice Dozier, of Gray, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at her residence. She was 75 years of age.
She was the daughter of the late George and Nollie Payne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Hutton, brother Harold Payne, and granddaughter Tina Renea Hubbs.
She is survived by her husband Curt Dozier of Gray; five daughters: Wanda Hart and husband Butch of Corbin, Ruby Hubbs and husband Harold of Corbin, Mary Potter and husband Gary of Corbin, Louise Bays and husband Earl of Keavy, and Annette Garland of Corbin; one son Ray Dozier and wife Pat of Corbin; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister Betty McCreary; one brother Carl Payne; and many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Friday, January 11, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Johnson and Bro. Patrick Decker officiating. Burial will be in the Brafford Cemetery with friends serving as pallbearers.
