Bernice Farris

Bernice Farris, 76, of Gray, KY passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at her home.
She was a native of Norton, VA and a daughter of the late Corbin and Eva Robbins Payne. Grandsons Kevin Wayne Cox and Adam Bray, and niece Amy Baker also preceded her in death.
Bernice dedicated her life to caring for her family which include husband Harold Farris; children Gary Farris, Johnny Farris, and Roger Farris of Gray, Jennie Cox of Lakeland, FL, Ronnie Farris of Barbourville, Jeff Farris of Gray, and Darla Farris of Corbin; Brothers and sisters Yuleva Coffee of Barbourville, Lucy Collinsworth of Gray, John Payne of Louisville, and Mutt Payne of Corbin; 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Bernice belonged to the Rossland Holiness Church.
Her visitation will be from 6 until 9 pm Monday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Her life will be honored at a service at 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Claude Medlin and Rev. William Wyatt officiating.
Burial will follow at Brafford Cemetery.
