Bessie Harp Williams

Bessie Harp Steele Williams, 106, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Christian Health Care in Corbin.
Born in Whitley County, she was the daughter of the late Joshua Harp and Phoebe Bennett Harp,and  was the youngest of 13 children. She was also preceded in death by her son Ozene Steele and grandson Mark Edward Steele.
Bessie had worked as a sales clerk at the Quality Shop and Mitchell's Hardware.
She is survived by her son Edward Steele and wife Wanda, and by several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service was held at the Corinth Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Corbin Christian Health Center Activity Fund.
