Bessie Mobley Wells

Bessie Mobley Wells, age 80, of New Iberia, Louisiana, formerly of Corbin, died Sunday, November 9, 2003 in Louisiana.
She was born on July 4, 1923 in Corbin, KY the daughter of the Late Charles and Bertha Eaton Mobley. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by Faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Wells in 1989;  A brother, James Mobley;  and a sister, June Bulman.
She is survived by her son, Billy Wells and his wife Angie of New Iberia, LA,; a Granddaughter, Adrienne Wells of New Iberia, LA; Two Grandsons, Nicholas Gallimore and his fiancee Lani Broussard of Lafayette, LA; and Dale Wells of New Iberia, One Brother, Alden Mobley of Taylorsvile, KY and a Sister Ruth Walker of Louisvile, KY; Two Sisters-In-Law, Alene Wells Ridner and Alma Cornelius both of Corbin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00pm at the Church of God of Prophecy in North Corbin, with Pastor Tina Lord officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Thursday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, Master Street, Corbin.
