Betty Joyce Jones Ketron

Betty Joyce Jones Ketron, age 72, of Keavy, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at her home.

Born December 30, 1950, in Corbin, she was a daughter to the late Woodrow and Margie Higginbotham Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Artis Ray Ketron, Sr., three brothers, William Lee Jones, Earl Willis Jones, and Henry Jones, one sister, Shirley Ann Tucker, and one great grandson, Alexander Earls.

She is survived by two daughters, Angela Perry (Allen) of Keavy, KY, and Tammy Ball (Darrell) of Williamsburg, KY, one son, Casey Profitt of Corbin, KY, and one stepson, Artis Ketron, Jr. of Corbin, KY.

Betty was blessed to have six grandchildren, Ashley Jarboe, Joshua Bignell, Ryan Ball, Jaxon Profitt, Kaitlyn Ball, and Megan Ball, five great-grandchildren, Collin Leizear, Isabella Carter, Jaida'Lyn Bignell, Alexis Earls, and Eleanor Ball, one special friend, Nancy Williams, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Parkway Ministries, 510 E. Cumberland Gap Pkwy, where a life celebration will take place at 2pm with Pastor Mark Hisle officiating.
