Betty L. Adams

Betty L. Adams, 77, of Corbin passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the home of her daughter. Betty was born on July 30, 1939 and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband James Arlis Adams on October 13, 2007. Also she was predeceased by a sister Eunice Begley and three brothers Lowell Begley, Jerry Mize, and Donnie Mize.
She is survived by her three children: Karen Richmond and husband Johnny of Hubert, NC, Penny Lewis of Richmond, KY, and Jeannie Burkhart and husband Danny of Corbin; four grandchildren: Monica Richmond, Kristi Richmond, Wesley Ooten, and Cassie Burkhart; five sisters: Reva Thompson, Oleda Woods, Francis McIntosh, Elizabeth Arthur, and Sue Campbell; and three brothers: Bertis Mize, Tony Mize, and Patrick Mize.
We wish to invite you to Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home to celebrate Betty's life and that she has gone to be with God in Heaven and all of her family and friends who have gone before her. Her visitation period will begin at 11 am Wednesday, Nov. 9 with the service to follow at 1 pm with Rev. Billy Evans officiating.
Interment will be at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
