Betty Lou Chadwell

Betty Lou Chadwell, age 78, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Knox County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Oda Brewer and Daisy Mae Setser Marshall. She loved to bowl with her husband, Golvin, and their friends. Betty cherished her children and grandchildren; she loved them deeply and they loved her equally in return.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Jennette White, Juanita, Johnnie Dean, and Doris Jean.

She is survived by her husband, Golvin Chadwell, four children, Vickie Jones and husband Thomas Bengert, Rev. Golvin Chadwell, Jr. and wife Kathy, Betty Lewis and husband Russell, and Lisa Hurst and husband Phillip, brother, Harris Brewer and wife Edith and their son Harris Brewer, Jr., and his wife Siblie, grandchildren, Hannah, Summer, Jacob, Joshua, Kristopher, and Jessica, great grandchildren, Joseph, Sara, Penelope "Peanut", Malakhi, Sammi, and Bella, and by numerous other family members and friends including, Jerry Chadwell and wife Francis, Bill Chadwell and wife Millie, and, August and Joe.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Lynn Camp Cemetery in Corbin, KY, with Rev. Harris Brewer, Jr. officiating.
