Bill Arthur Finley Clark, 77, of London, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born December 1, 1926 in Laurel County, he was the son of the late Elzie B. and Julie Lanham Clark. He was a member of the Felts Chapel United Methodist Church, a retired steelworker for J & L Steel, a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII, and a member of Hugh Harris Lodge 938 F&AM.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are his son, Bryan Samuel Clark, his brother Loyd Clark, and his sister Zora Watts.
Survivors include his wife Loretta Moore Clark; son Mike Clark and his wife Kathleen of Loveland, Ohio; three daughters, Linda Clark Morgan and husband Ed of Peru, Indiana, Karen Clark of El Cerrito, California, and Kimberly Clark Trama and husband Vince of Franklin, Tennessee; cherished sister-in-law Jayne Rose Sears and husband Don; grandchildren, Sara Morgan, Emily Morgan, Bethany Morgan, Michael Morgan, Patrick Clark, Bridget Clark, Connor Clark, Nick Trama, and Alyssa Trama; brother, Norman Clark and wife Marcella of Corbin; sister, Edna C. Whitus of London; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at the Felts Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Nichols and Rev. Charles Spice officiating. Burial will follow at the Felts Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Masonic rites will be conducted at 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Clark, Don Sears, Michael Morgan, Nick Trama, Connor Clark and Cory Sears.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Felts United Methodist Church Building Fund.
