Bill Ellison

Bill Ellison Sr., 68,of London, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Saint Joseph London.
He was born in Corbin to the late Cheslie and Virginia Martin Ellison. Also preceding him in death were brothers Virgil Lee Ellison and Cheslie Harold Ellison, and sister Shirley Cole.
Bill was a member of New Hope Ministries. He held college degrees from Sue Bennett College, Cumberland College, and UK. As the owner of Jackson Behavioral Health, he had the opportunity to help countless children in our community. The greatest gift to those he cared for was love. Bill's greatest joy was being a loving father and husband.
Bill is survived by his wife Theresa Dizney Ellison; two children Bill Ellison Jr. and wife Connie of London and Anthony Ellison of Richmond; two granddaughters Amanda Ellison and Rebecca VanGelderen and husband Nathan; brother Carl Ellison and wife Cindy of Corbin; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers who mourn his passing.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at New Hope Ministries with Rev. Steve Cole, Bro. Carl Ellison, and Rev. Mike Addison officiating. Burial will be in Lynn Camp Cemetery.
The visitation will also be held at New Hope Ministries from 6-9 pm Friday, June 26.
