Bobbie Trett

Bobbie Trett, age 84, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at her residence.
Born in Gastonia, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John Sidney and Lyda McKenzie Street. She was a member of the New Hope Community Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Elbert Trett; and her sister, Dorothy Patricia Powers.
She is survived by two children: Angelia Burns Douglas and husband Don, and Johnsie Burns Davis and husband Bob; three grandchildren: Cheri Aldrich and husband Tom, Cindy Battelle and husband Ryan, and Christopher Roberts and wife Renee; seven great-grandchildren: Bethany Roberts, Kennedy Roberts, Rebecca Aldrich, Wesley Roberts, Claire Battelle, Lillian Roberts and Lauren Aldrich; and three sisters: Peggy Fowler, Martha Ursy, and Sara Thurston.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am Thursday, June 6th, until the funeral at 1:00 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Pastor Delmon Sizemore officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
