Brenda Faye Greene

Brenda Faye Greene, 65, of Gray, passed away on January 1, 2014, at her home.
Born in London, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Carl Hedrick and Anna Lucille Shepard Davis. Brenda was Baptist by faith and had worked as a cook at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Greene, Jr.; daughter, Shannon Dawn Hatfield Myers; granddaughter, Nora Marie Greene; and grandson, Austin Tanner Greene.
She is survived by two children: Brian Hatfield and wife Diana, and Amy Joseph and husband Arnold; three step-children: Homer Greene and wife Lisa, David Green and wife Kathy, and Darrell Greene and wife Linda; grandchildren:
Cristy Flinchum and husband Stephen and their daughter Laura; Denny Hatfield; Matthew Joseph and wife Vanessa; Mark Joseph; Mary Elizabeth Greene; Charles David Greene II and wife Marcie; Terry Edward Greene and wife Christy and their son Dustin; Dustin Garrett Greene and his son Jaxon; Russell Wayne Greene and his wife Candace; Martin Jones; and Austin Myers; brother, Dennis Hedrick and wife Deana; and her caregiver and friend, Anna Greene.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, Jan. 5, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Proffitt officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm Saturday, Jan. 4, at the funeral home.
