Brenda Joan Garland

Brenda Joan Garland, age 77, of Corbin, KY, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was a daughter to the late Henry Clark and Retha Carmen Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Garland; son, Eugene Garland; stepdaughter, Peggy Garland Smith, and her son Charlie Garland; and by three brothers.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Garland; grandchildren, Curt Garland, Adrien Garland, Chris Fox, Bo Garland, Zach Garland, Vanessa Garland, Stephanie Rhodes, Richie McCrystal, Kaitlyn Garland, and Kameron Garland; sisters, Lois Kindle, Roberta Earls, Patty Wren, and Tammy Mills; brothers, Dennis Clark, Jimmy Clark, and Roger Carmen; and by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will begin at 2 pm on Monday, February 5, 2024, at New Vision Pentecostal Church in Gray, KY, with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Gray Cemetery in Gray, KY.
