Brittany Lorane Childress

Brittany Lorane Childress, age 20, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012, at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Brittany was born in Corbin to Robert Paul Childress and Angela Renee Richmond Childress. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a graduate of Corbin High School.She was a former employee of McDonald's.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Breonna Childress; brothers, Joshua Childress and Christopher Childress; sisters, Magadalene Perry and Makayla Perry; grandparents, Jerry Childress, Fletta Childress, Mike Richmond and Brenda Richmond, all who mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon Wednesday, Aug. 29th, until the funeral at 2 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bishop Robert Barton officiating. Burial will follow in the Childress Family Cemetery on Tidal Wave Road in Corbin.
