Buelah Mae Majors, age 90, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 at her home. She was born in Knox County to the late James Patterson and Corrine Click Patterson. Buelah worked alongside her husband, the late James Russell Majors, and was the business manager for Chandler Printing and later Majors Advertising in Corbin. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church, where she taught six year old Sunday School for over 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Russell Majors; brothers, Rheuval Patterson and Pete James Patterson; and by her daughter-in-law, Gayle Majors. Buelah is survived by her sons, Dr. Phil Majors, and Dr. Gerald Majors and daughter-in- law, Glenda Majors; granchildren, Jamie Spencer, Dr. Kristin Majors Moore (Wes), Matthew Majors (Kacie), and Megan Majors; great grandchildren, Jaden Spencer, Myles Masten, and Clark Majors; and by several cousins, family members, and many friends. Due to the COVID pandemic the family has chosen to have a private service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Buelah's name are suggested to be made to Central Baptist Church. Arrangements by the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin, where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
