Buna V. Pridemore

Buna V. Pridemore, 88, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at her home. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.
She was born in Lily, KY to the late Henry and Ethel Champlin McHargue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loren H. Pridemore; 12 brothers and sisters; and a very special daughter-in-law, Judy Pridemore.
She is survived by four children: Jerrell Pridemore of Lily, David Leon Pridemore and wife Beulah of Lily, Ann Root and husband Terry of Corbin, and Nancy Woodward and husband James of London; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jip McHargue; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 23, at the McHargue Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Terry Root, Jason Rea, Houston Rea, Anna Hinkle, Lisa Lotton, and Bryon Pridemore.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Friday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
