Calvin C. Walters

Calvin C. Walters, age 65, of Corbin and formerly of Gray, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Oak Tree Hospital.
He was born in Knox County and had been a coal truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife Amanda Helton Walters in 1999, his parents Dewey and Frances Kidwell Walters, and stepsons Freeman Brock and David Brock.
Calvin is survived by four stepsons: Clifford Brock and wife Annie, Jerry Brock, William Brock and wife Edith, and Adam Brock and wife Louise; several grandchildren including Shirley Smith, and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 1pm Sunday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, with the funeral to follow at 2pm, with Rev. Claude Medlin officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
