Carl Childress

Carl Childress, 54, of Lily, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Roy Childress and Beatrice Childress.
He is survived by his beloved lifetime companion, Deborah Shell; brother, Jerry Childress; sisters, Ruth Cox of Williamsburg and Wanda Dennison of Marbury, Maryland; three brothers, Henry and Lois Childress of Speedwell, Tennessee, Jerry and Gail Childress of Corbin, and Roger and Look Chan Childress of Cape Coral, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and animal companions Whizmo and Bo Diddy.
Funeral service is 11 am Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Nunley officiating. Burial will be in the Academy Cemetery in Speedwell, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday, April 6, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
