Carl Linville Lewallen

Carl Linville Lewallen, 62, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Carl was born in Corbin and graduated from Corbin High School before going on to earn his BA from Eastern Kentucky University. While in college he served in the ROTC and he served in the National Guard after college. He was a hard and dedicated worker for over 40years having worked in the finance department at the Juder Stidham Auto Dealership. Carl had a great love for Corbin, and served his community in many ways. He was a Corbin City Commissioner from 1986-1990. Carl had a great love for Corbin Schools and especially Redhound Football.
Carl was preceded in death by his Parents, Matt and Rosie Wells Lewallen, and by his aunt Ruby Steele.
A loving father and husband, He is survived by his wife, Judy Lewallen; and two children, Brittany Owens (Craig), and Guy Lewallen; and many friends especially Omar McDaniel.
Visitation will be from 1-3 pm on Sunday, Nov. 23, at the First Baptist Church.
Funeral service will follow at 3 pm at First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Sims officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
