Carl Thomas Anders

Carl Thomas Anders, age 85, of Keavy, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Baldrock, KY to the late Ethel Anders Rose. On July 14, 1948, he married his wife of 62 years, Irene Smith Anders. He worked at Binder Saw Mill and retired from Pepsi Cola of Corbin. He was a member of Level Green Church of Christ in Keavy.
In addition to his Mother, he was preceded in death by two Sons, Stevie and Ronnie Anders; Granddaughter, Stephanie Anders; and three Sisters, Marcella Morgan, Merle Jean Barrett, and Beatrice Rose.
He is survived by his Wife, Irene Smith Anders; two Daughters, Janice Allen and Brenda Smith both of London; three Sons, Tommy Anders and Wife Kaye, Johnny Anders and wife Cheryl, and Brian Anders all of Keavy; three Sisters, Volena Bowman of Austin, IN, Claudia McCarty and Lois Rose, both of London; 13 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild; and a host of other Relatives.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Tuesday, Sept 7, 2010, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, and on Wednesday from 1pm until his Celebration of Life Service at 2pm at Poynters Chapel Christian Church in Baldrock.
Burial will follow in Poynters Chapel Cemetery with his Grandsons, Bobby and Shannon Allen, Nathan, Ethan, Ryan, Micah Anders, Jordan Allen, and Phillip Miller serving as Pall Bearers.
