Carliss Ray Walker

Carliss Ray Walker, age 66, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Joseph Clarence and Virna Farmer Walker; and by a Brother, Alfred Allen Walker.
He is survived by three Children, Tina Sams of Hot Springs, NC,  Anthony Walker of Lenoir, TN, and Ricky Walker of Athens, TN; Sister Etta Webb and husband James of Taylor, MI; Brothers, Paul Walker and wife Ann of Harlan,  and Rev. Herschel Walker and wife Doris of Corbin; two Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 3, 2011, from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin; and on Tuesday from 11am until the time of his funeral service at 2pm at the Cornerstone Community Church in Baxter, Harlan County, KY, with Bro. Howard Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery in Loyal.
