Carrie Lee Spurlock

Carrie Lee Spurlock was born on September 16, 1946, in Williamsburg, Ky to the late David Gipson and Lucy Rogers. She passed away on February 4, 2022, at her home in Stanford, Ky, after a short bout with lung cancer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, half-sisters, Elsie Hamblin, Edna Bennett, Annie Scarborough; brothers, Jack Gipson, Clarence Gipson, Belvin Gipson, and Everett Young; and her husband Delano McFarland.
She is survived by her, husband, Virgil Spurlock; son, Steven Miracle and daughter in law, Georgia Miracle; grandchildren, Amanda Best, Alicia Lalachen, James Miracle, and Bryce Simpson; ten great grandchildren, Hayley Byerly, Chaz Edwards, Shelby Berry, Price George, Temperance Buchanan, Levi Logan, Landrey Payne, Trinity Buchanan, Madden Payne, and Tripp Buchanan; and by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Saturday, February 26th prior to the memorial service.
