Carrie 'Tootsie' Watkins

Carrie "Tootsie" Watkins, age 74, of Gray, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Martin Johnson and Cora Warren Johnson and was a member of the Rossland Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Watkins; husband, George Alva Watkins; and brothers, George and S.F. Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Mills and husband Wayne; brothers, Jack Johnson and wife Alma, James Johnson and wife Lavina, and Charles Johnson and wife Wanda; grandchildren, Analicia Blevins and husband Stanley, Hailey Mills, and Johnathan and Jeremy Watkins; great-grandchildren, Jayden Blevins and Brodee Blevins; special cousin, Kim Robinson and husband Ritchie and their children, Tyler Robinson and wife Andrea, and Mandi Tate Robinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Hughes, Rev. Claude Medlin and Rev. Greg Medlin will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday,
May 24, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
